Open Access Policy
All articles in this journal are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, ensuring that they are immediately and permanently accessible for everyone to read and download without any subscription or access fees.
Open access publishing supports scientific discoveries and innovative findings, fostering collaboration among scientists, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and ensuring transparency. In line with major open access declarations (Budapest, Berlin, and Bethesda), LBSHerald defines open access as follows:
- Freely Accessible Peer-Reviewed Literature: Articles are available without subscription or price barriers.
- Immediate Release: Literature is available in an open-access format immediately upon publication, with no embargo period.
- Reuse Rights: Published material can be reused without permission, provided that proper citation to the original work is given.
Licensing and Copyright
All articles published in this journal are under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits unlimited use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, as long as the original author and source are properly credited. Authors retain the copyright to their articles, except for third-party images or other materials that are copyrighted by their respective owners.
Before publication in LBSHerald authors must sign an ARTICLE PUBLICATION AGREEMENT. This agreement, submitted with the article, certifies the following:
- Agreement for Publication: All authors agree to the article's publication in the journal.
- Original Work: The article is the original work of the authors, not published before or under consideration elsewhere.
- Adherence to Journal Policies: Authors agree to the journal’s policies.
- Exclusive Submission: The article is not under review by another journal during the review process with this journal.
- Final Approval: Authors have given final approval of the submitted manuscript.
- Compliance with Laws: The article contains no libelous or unlawful statements and does not violate any personal or proprietary rights.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors declare no conflicts of interest that could affect the article's integrity and the validity of its findings.
- Permissions: Authors have obtained necessary permissions for any copyrighted excerpts used in the article and have credited the sources.
- Consent for Personal Information: If using personal details or images, authors have obtained required consents and complied with the publisher’s policies.
Authors are allowed to deposit (self-archive) their article at various stages (submitted, accepted, or final published version) in repositories or personal websites without an embargo period. When self-archiving, authors must acknowledge the publisher and the publication, including an URL to the article if available.
